The Department of Statistics and Analytical Sciences is showcasing their award-winning student research and the data science programs. Come see what your fellow students are analyzing from marketing avocados to gym memberships to analyzing data on preemies. The undergraduates are combining data science with their various degrees to position themselves for great job opportunities, and the graduates are using data science to position themselves for rewarding top dollar jobs. Learn how to position yourself for a rewarding and successful career in analytics!
The students presenting at this Data Science Showcase are from the Minor in Applied Statistics and Data Analysis and the M.S. in Applied Statistics. There will be information on those programs at the showcase. Come and learn how to get graduate credit for the courses taken during your Bachelor’s degree. Ask us how!
