Marla Bell named interim dean of the College of Science and Mathematics.

Photo of Dr. Marla BellMarla Bell, Associate Dean for Student Success in the College of Science and Mathematics and Professor of Statistics, has been named interim dean of the College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) at Kennesaw State University (KSU).

Marla Bell brings a wealth of knowledge about KSU and the College of Science and Mathematics to her new role as Interim Dean for the College starting January 1, 2020. She has been integral in development and integration of many initiatives within the CSM since arriving at KSU in 1994. She has served at KSU as Professor and Assistant Chair and Interim Department Chair in the Department of Mathematics, Professor in the Department of Statistics and Analytical Sciences, and most recently Associate Dean for Student Success in the College of Science and Mathematics. During her time as Associate Dean, she led the implementation of a comprehensive and multi-faceted student success initiative.
